Invasions are things that some people don’t like about the Dark Souls games and the Elden Ring. In Elden Ring, there are only a few multiplayer options. One player can enter another game to kill that player.
As the player invaded they can come at any time. This means that even when the player is fighting a boss in the open world, an invader can develop another dangerous enemy to fight.
If an Elden Ring player decides to go online, they will see a message that says, “Welcome to the Elden Ring.” When an invasion happens, the message can’t ignore.
One Elden Ring player, on the other hand, decided to end their invasion experience without a fight to the death. Instead, they made their invader think they were just another enemy in the game.

Reddit user xc dressed up as an enemy in the Church of Ellen area and then killed an enemy patrolling there.
When the player done, they took the enemy’s patrol route and walked around like an NPC would before receiving the message that they attack.
Quickly, the invader looked around for the player. They ran past them a few times. The invader then went away but kept looking.
When they returned to their world, they gave the impersonator the Runes that usually use to defeat an invader. The player’s name will only show up when an invader locks on to the player, which means that in the clip, xc lis’s invader didn’t lock on to what they thought was a random NPC.
Because of the epic fights that can happen in Elden Ring’s attacks. This clip shows a very peaceful way to go.
The player who came into the game was likely disappointed to find out that a simple disguise had fooled them. Yet more people who play the game Elden Ring have talked about how bad their invasions have been.
