Goa to reopen all educational institutions

It is reported that the Goa administration has announced that it will allow the reopening of all schools from classes 1-12 from February 21, after the COVID-19 cases are coming down.

In announcing an announcement on the Thursday of this week, the state government stated, “As COVID-19 cases are reducing day by day in the state, it has been decided by the competent authority to re-open all the educational institutions from std. I to std. XII from February 21.”

The official order also stated, “COVID-19 appropriate behavior and as per SOP guidelines.”

It is noteworthy that Goa reported new coronavirus positive cases and three deaths attributed to the disease on Thursday.

According to the health department of the state health department, the total caseload was 2,44,508, and the death toll climbed to 3,785.

The department also noted that recovered patients rose to 2,394,496, while 481 patients were retrieved during the day.

There are currently 1,227 active cases within Goa’s state. The COVID-19 numbers for Goa are as follows: Positive cases 24,508 New cases 103, death toll 3,785, restitution 2,39,496 active cases, 1,227 tests on samples till the date of testing 18,61,114.
