Gotham Knights is gold and slated for October

Gotham Knights is gold and slated for October: Gotham Knights have achieved gold status and will release in October.

The wait for Gotham Knights, announced over two years ago, is nearly over now that WB Games Montréal has revealed the game has officially gone gold. Late this morning, the studio announced the game’s development milestone on Twitter.

The company also noted that the game is still on track to release in October.

Gotham Knights, which first revealed at DC’s 2020 Fandom event, follows the Batfamily (Robin, Red Hood, Batgirl, and Nightwing) as they work to defend Gotham City after Batman’s demise and look for the reason for the Dark Knight’s death.

Although many of the characters in Gotham Knights have already featured in the Batman: Arkham games, and despite WB Montréal’s past expertise with the Batman: Arkham series, Gotham Knights set the universe differently.

After many months of quiet after the game’s announcement, Gotham Knights postpone till 2022. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the match scheduled to release this year have scrapped “to provide gamers the greatest possible gaming experience,” according to WB Montréal’s earlier announcement.

Not the only significant DC game in development is Gotham Knights. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League a four-player cooperative game set in the Arkham timeframe and developed by Rocksteady, which also well-known for its work on the Arkham video games.

Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Black Adam are heavily featured in Warner Bros.’ crossover fighting game MultiVersus, which also boasts a significant presence of DC characters.
