India will launch World’s first DNA vaccine and nasal vaccine: Modi
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his speech to the nation Saturday (December 25, 25), stated that India would soon begin administration of the first-ever DNA vaccine against COVID-19.
PM appealed to not panic in the face of increasing COVID-19 infections due to the Omicron virus.
In his address, PM also stated that vaccines against COVID-19 will be available for children aged 15-18 years starting January 3.
Healthcare workers and frontline workers can start taking precaution doses beginning January 10.
PM announced that “all persons with comorbidities who are over 60 years old and on the recommendation from their doctors, will be eligible to receive precaution doses beginning January 10, 2022.”
