Liverpool star Andrew Robertson sends message to fans after Scotland win.
Liverpool star Andrew Robertson took to Twitter with a message celebrating Scotland’s good end to their World Cup qualifying campaign.
The ace of the Reds has been fundamental for the club and the country in recent years.
As well as helping Liverpool win the Premier League and Champions League, Robertson has also made Scotland a great tournament again.
Scotland beat Denmark 2-0 on Monday to secure a home draw in the playoffs next March.
Robertson, the captain of his nation, impressed the game, patrolling the left flank and embarking on numerous races.
However, he limped off late in the game, with some outlets including Mirror claiming that he may have suffered an alleged hamstring injury.
The Scottish skipper went down to the grass clutching his leg in the 79th minute and had to be withdrawn when he was replaced by Scott McKenna.
On Twitter, Robertson did not address his hit or the substitution, instead of focusing on the team’s efforts on the night:
The picture about Robertson’s possible injury is sure to clear up in the coming days.
If he is on the sidelines, Kostas Tsimikas will likely replace him on Liverpool’s left-back.
Jurgen Klopp’s charges are next in action on Saturday when they host Arsenal at Anfield.
