The war of words continues in the lead-up to Punjab Elections, Punjab Congress president Navjot Singh Sidhu on Thursday called Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national president Arvind Kejriwal to be a ‘big liar.’
In a statement from the Raikot district in Ludhiana this Thursday, Sidhu has also criticized the party’s opponents and said the party does not have goals.
In a scathing attack on Arvind, Kejriwal Navjot Sidhu added that he knows how to make false promises but isn’t sure how to fulfill these promises.
Sidhu’s remarks about Kejriwal’s character were made after Delhi CM Kejriwal applauded Jalandhar for its sports industry and promised to establish India’s most prestigious sports university in the city if AAP were to be elected.
In a speech to the AAP rally at the Tiranga Yatra conference, Kejriwal said that Jalandhar is famous for its sports industry and that many famous athletes use the products produced in the city.
The CM added that if his party becomes a part of the government in Punjab, the long-awaited request of an international airport in Jalandhar will also be fulfilled.
Kejriwal previously made a huge announcement, stating that each adult woman in the state will be rewarded with Rs.1000 per month if AAP is elected.
He has committed to 300 units of electricity for free and a waiver of unpaid electric bills, as well as uninterrupted all-hours-of-the-day electricity if he is elected.
In addition, the AAP’s sops for voting provide accessible and high-quality healthcare for everyone, including free medical tests, medicines, and operations, as well as health cards free to the entire 16,000 Pind clinics.
