USWNT गोलकिपर नाहेरले दावी गरे कि उनी टोकियो खेलको चोटबाट पूर्ण रूपमा निको भइसकेकी छिन्

USWNT goalie Naeher claims she is fully recovered from the Tokyo Games injury.

The United States women’s national team goalkeeper Alyssa Näher has announced that she is completely recuperated from the knee injury.

She sustained during her participation in the Tokyo Olympics. However, she returned to the sport with a renewed appreciation for the often brutal sport.

The veteran player was struck by an opponent while trying to block a cross-pass during the first half of a 1-0 semi-final defeat to Canada. The injuries that followed led to a long rehabilitation.

“I’m 100%. No restrictions. I’m not holding anything back,” she reported to reporters after a training session located in Austin, Texas.

“So now it’s just getting back up to speed. It has been a long recovery. I’m excited to get back in with the group, put my head down and get back to work.”

Naeher was awe-inspiring after she produced numerous spectacular saves in the quarter-final match against the Netherlands.

Still, she was restricted to watching from the watching area as the team beat Australia during the bronze-medal game.

She says the accident has taught her to cherish the good times, but she has learned they are temporary.

“This game can be kind of cruel, to go from such a high to such a low that quickly,” she said.

“So for me, it’s about not taking anything for granted. You never know when an injury will pop up, so it’s about enjoying every part of it. Enjoying every training session, every meeting, every physical therapy session.”

She said that a team of swimmers could take her under their wing to assist her in maintaining her fitness levels during the absence of her doctor after they had advised her to stay away from the pitch.

“I’m grateful for the people that helped me over the last six months,” she said.

“The people who helped me to get back to me.”
