UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou Wants to fight Tyson Fury.

Francis Ngannou, the UFC heavyweight champion, stated he hopes to fight Tyson Fury in a crossover contest in 2023.

There is a “70 percent probability” that the British boxer will be his next opponent.

When the two spoke in the ring after Fury’s win over Dillian Whyte on Saturday, the WBC heavyweight champion hinted that he would fight Ngannou.

On Monday, Ngannou said on The MMA Hour podcast, “We both want this fight, that’s apparent, and we respect each other.”

“It will most likely happen next year.” I believe that will happen; it’s just a matter of our promotions, but we’ll figure it out eventually.”

The match could involve elements of boxing and mixed martial arts, according to Ngannou, who successfully defended his title against Cyril Gane in January (MMA).

“Make it a hybrid fight,” Ngannou said, “something that makes him uncomfortable as a boxer.” “Things like MMA gloves or fighting barefoot come to mind. I’m not sure; we’ll have to sort it out.

“There’s a 70% probability (my next opponent will be Tyson Fury).” On his side, I’d say he’s 90% against me.”
