Bombay: Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik said today that Aryan Khan, the son of Shah Rukh Khan, was kidnapped for ransom and the matter was resolved “because of a selfie.”
“It was said in court that Aryan Khan did not buy a ticket and went on a cruise. That it was there because of Pratik Gaba and Amir Furniturewala … I want to say right away that it is a kidnapping and ransom issue.” Malik said at a press conference this morning.
A relative of the BJP leader, Mohit Kamboj, “set a trap,” Malik said. “Aryan Khan was taken there. And a Rs 25 crore kidnap and ransom game was started.
A deal was made for Rs 18 crore. Rs 50 lakh was paid. But a selfie ruined the game and this is the truth,” he said. referring to private investigator KP Gosavi’s selfie with Aryan Khan.
The minister also named Mohit Kambhoj as the mastermind of the case and alleged that he was a partner of anti-drug officer Sameer Wankhede in the extortion business.
