BJP Declared 122 Candidates without any Muslim Candidate

West Bengal Election 2021: BJP has announced the names of 122 candidates in three phases. 57 in the first phase, two in the second phase, and 63 in the third phase. Today, the BJP has announced the names of 63 candidates for the third and fourth rounds of elections. There are many surprises in today’s BJP list. Today, several BJP MPs have been given Assembly tickets. One of them is the Union Minister of State Babul Supriya. The Union Minister has been made to stand from the Taliganj Assembly constituency.

There is also speculation that Mamata Banerjee will stand in the Taliganj center. And that may be the reason why the BJP has fielded a heavyweight candidate against Mamata Banerjee. Hooghly MP Locket Chatterjee has also been fielded as a candidate for the Chunchura assembly constituency. And Kochbihar MP Nishith Pramanik has been nominated for Dinhata.

None of the BJP’s top 57 candidates was a star candidate. However, out of today’s 63 candidates, more than one-star candidate has been given a chance. Earlier, the BJP had declared actor Hiran Chatterjee as its candidate from Kharagpur Sadar. And today another famous actor of Tollywood Yash Dasgupta has been given a chance from Chandipur seat.

Also actress Payal Sarkar to Behala East. Shyampukur to actress Tanushree Chakraborty. Actress Anjana Basu has been given a ticket from Sonarpur South. And Rajiv Banerjee, a former minister in the Mamata government, has been fielded from his old constituency of Howrah. And Rabindranath Bhattacharya, who has just left the grassroots and joined the BJP and is known as Singur’s Master Mister, has been given a ticket from Singur.

There is no Muslim Candidate in the List of 122 Candidates of the BJP

But the most important thing is that there is no Muslim candidate in the list of 122 candidates of BJP. As the complete list of BJP’s 293 seats has not been released yet, it is not clear whether the BJP will field a Muslim candidate. However, according to the BJP’s candidate list, Gerua Shibir has adopted the model of Uttar Pradesh. Because in the 2016 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, the BJP surprised everyone by not fielding a single Muslim candidate.
