Brazil’s native group fights for logging & mining in the Amazon forest.
Armed with machetes, this indigenous group in Brazil is tasked to stop logging and mining in the Amazon forest.
Members divide into five groups. And each with its territory. They face a difficult challenge because persons involved in illegal activities frequently carry firearms.
Instead of confronting criminals directly, indigenous patrols target their infrastructure. It includes the makeshift bridge used by loggers.
They use it for patrol members burned down. Loggers built this makeshift bridge to sneak into our land. If one person came and heard the machine, they removed all the machines and trucks.
Every week, a team comes to burn a bit of the infrastructure.
