The Corona Pandemic virus is on the rise across the country. The number of corona cases is increasing at an uncontrolled rate. The death toll is jumping high day by day. The central and state governments have been reluctant to deal with such a crisis. This time, the Center has sent several letters of advice and instructions to states to deal with Corona. The letter has also reached the hands of West Bengal.
The letter from Union Health Secretary Ajay Bhalla advised states to take various steps after reviewing Corona’s situation. He called for an area closure, a ban on large gatherings, cuts in public transport, and even a curfew. The new Center guidelines also mention the creation of a Contentment Zone. In these containment zones, 50 and 20 people have been invited to weddings and mourning ceremonies, respectively. The closure of religious, political, and social gatherings of all kinds in these containment areas has been ordered.
