Citibank Consumer Banking India Shutting Down Soon
Citigroup is closing its consumer banking operations for clients in India. In announcing its first-quarter results, Citigroup said it is closing retail banking operations in 13 countries in Asia and Europe to focus more on wealth management outside of the United States. However, the bank did not give any particular date for the exits.
