A police chief from the Central Reserve Force (CRPF) was killed in an encounter that erupted with militants in the Malabagh area of ​​Srinagar on Thursday night. The agent was identified as Kuldeep Urwan, 38.

The forces killed a militant in the encounter. His body was recovered with an AK rifle. The murdered militant has yet to be identified.
