Techland has been promoting in the last several months and has revealed information through its social media channels and the YouTube streaming series Dying 2 Know.
One of the details disclosed included the co-op mode of Dying Light 2.
Techland has created the series of Dying 2 Know to promote the game in the past, with the most recent episode being the final one to air before the game’s release in the coming month.
The show hosted by Jonah Scott, the voice actor of the protagonist Aiden Caldwell and Twitch streamer Leah Alexandra, highlighted various aspects of the game’s release and the new trailer for Dying Light 2.
One of the major topics they talked about on this show was how cooperative mode would work.
In this episode, Alexandra can reveal that Dying Light 2‘s campaign can defeat the co-op.
One participant hosts this game, and the other players can join the session as guests.
Players who take part in this game can preserve the things and the progress created and also.
Alexandra says that, while a host is holding the session. There are instances where the participant’s forced to go into narrative routes. That may alter the course of the story.
She also notes that the players who participate in the session can choose which path to take. However, the host will ultimately have the final say in what route to take.
The video then shows short gameplay from Dying Light 2‘s co-op mode, which features four players in video.
The footage shows them fighting the different zombies in this game. In addition, some players are taking on specific roles based on their weapons.
It also shows one player using the weapon of close range while another can cause damage from afar.
Other elements shown include the numerous players who travel across Dying Light‘s open world, using zip lines and parkour, as well as areas that are overgrown with vegetation.
The video concludes with a shot of the players climbing a tower that resembles a church. An exciting narrative option, and a set piece to battle through.
