Earthquake hits Patna
An earthquake shook Bihar’s capital, Patna, on Monday night. The tremors measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale were felt at 9:23 p.m. 20 km NW of Nalanda, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
Earlier Monday, an earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was felt in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors from the earthquake were felt 258 km south-southeast of Portblair at 7.23 pm.
