The NPD Group compiles sales of subscriptions, DLC, and US games. The results show how quickly Elden Ring has become a big hit in the US! Compared to the last 12 months, Call of Duty: Vanguard has sold more copies in its first month than Elden Ring has sold in the previous year.
This is because Elden Ring only has five days in its “launch month,” which means it’s only been two days. With that in mind, Elden Ring has already been fifth in all games over the last 12 months.
In February, it was the best-selling game on PC and Xbox, and Horizon Forbidden West was still the best-selling game on PlayStation. It took third place in overall sales in February 2022. Dying Light 2 and Total War: Warhammer III came in fourth and fifth, respectively.
