The ravaging Forest Fires in Eastern Ukraine are much the growing pandemic that has put Ukraine on the verge of an emergency. Just a month after battling the Chernobyl exclusion in forest fires and uh swept across villages in the Luhansk region of eastern Ukraine. Hundreds of firefighters and rescue workers rushed to several fire spots that killed five and as severely injured nine.
The Forest Fires in Eastern Ukraine burned over 80 hectares of forest land, got it down more than a hundred and twenty homes, and left the region in a heatwave. More than 200 firefighters 47 units of equipment and water-bombing planes were deployed to fight the blaze and help rescue residents stuck in risky areas.
Officials in Ukraine’s capital Kyiv have initiated an investigation claiming that the forest fire, which began on the fifth of July, is likely to have been caused by arson. Early this year, forest fires had also ravaged 66,000 hectares of land in the Chernobyl exclusion zone in northern Ukraine.
