Genshin Impact 2.6 Leaks: Genshin Impact updates have a beta phase that shows most new content. A new update means that the beta phase starts when it comes out. The Genshin Impact 2.6 beta came out simultaneously as Version 2.5 went live on the live servers.
A new region called “Chasm” will add in the next update called 2.6. Yae Miko played in the live stream. A recent leak on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has given us more information about this region, including its two maps, and we now know more about it.
A well-known Genshin Impact leaker called GenshinBLANK has revealed more about Chasm, so now we know more about the game. The new area will split into two parts: the underground mines and the land above ground. It’s been said many times that the mines will be the lowest point in Teyvat, much lower than the popular Genshin Impact area Enkanomiya.
The maps look like Chasm will have a circular design, with many teleport points and a new Statue of the Seven. People have been talking about this place because its name has been on the in-game map for a long time.
This well-known area will get a new enemy from the Automaton family called the Ruin Serpent. As many people say, the Ruin Serpent will be a new world boss for the Automaton enemy type, which you wouldn’t expect.
It’s been a long time since the Enkanomiya added to the game, but developer miHoYo has been adding new areas to explore every other update. As it turns out, there have already been a lot of rumors that another significant Genshin Impact country called Sumeru could be right around the corner.
It looks like the story about Chasm will introduce a new country. Each country has a unique Archon and a set of divine ideals, like justice and freedom in the game. These ideals are also find in each country’s game. A place called Sumeru has the God of Wisdom as its ruler. He rules overall knowledge.
In addition, each country likes a different element that the Archon comes from. For Sumeru, the official story says that it will follow the lead of the Dendro Archon, who can make life from the desert around him. Dendro is the only Genshin Impact element that hasn’t added to the game yet.
When players enter the new country, they can expect to see a lot of flowers and plants. Even though Genshin Impact usually adds a new central region every year. These leaks should still take with a grain of salt because miHoYo hasn’t officially said that Sumeru is coming.
On mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, you can now play Genshin Impact! A Switch version is in the works.
