Use Covid care centres for isolation in rural areas: CM Vijay Rupani

Covid 19 is spreading all over the country like it’s no sign to stop. Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Uttarpradesh, all states are fighting with the daily Corona-affected patients.
Meanwhile, the Gujarat government take strict action to prevent the further spread of Covid-19 in rural Gujarat. Chief Minister Vijay Rupani organized a video conference on Thursday with all District Development Officers (DDO) and District Health Officials.

At the meeting, the prime minister directed top rural officials to become more aware of the rural area. He also suggested keeping all people with light symptoms isolated at Covid Community Care Centers (CCCC). In this way, the infection will not spread among families or neighbors.

An official source said that the CM had instructed senior officials to ensure that the necessary facilities are available at the Covid Community Care Centers. He also asked if enough oxygen is available or not in those Covid care centers.

13,061 Covid care centers have been established in different villages in 33 districts with a total capacity of 1.20 lakh of beds.

Chief Secretary Anil Mukim, Chief Health Secretary Jayanti Ravi, and Secretary Vijay Nehra also attended the meeting.
