There haven’t been any announcements major concerning the game’s release from 2020, aside from the initial delay of 2021 until 2022.
However, the lack of information seems like it’s going to change soon.
Warner Bros. Brazil published a thread on Twitter that highlighted its most anticipated 2022 releases in 2022.
The thread highlights various notable games from the publisher like Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad The Killer of The Justice League.
Hogwarts Legacy will release in 2022
Strangely, Hogwarts Legacy also listed in its 2022 roster.
This thread conflicts with an earlier report claiming that the open-world action RPG could delay until 2023.
An ex- IGN employee and present host on the Sacred Symbols podcast (paywalled on Patreon), Colin Moriarty, declared the possibility that Hogwarts Legacy will not be coming out until 2022.
Moriarty claimed that Hogwarts Legacy was “in some kind of trouble,” according to his information from those working in the shadows.
Hogwarts Legacy has also faced controversy due to its relationship with Harry Potter.
Harry Potter franchise; as the creator of the series JK Rowling has continued to issue negative comments regarding the LGBTQ community and others. It’s a negative image associated with Hogwarts Legacy.
The game’s official FAQ says that JK Rowling isn’t involve.
