Horizon Forbidden West Update

Horizon Forbidden West Update: Horizon Forbidden West had a good start when it came out in February. It was the most downloaded game in the UK on the week it came out. Horizon Forbidden West has a lot of positive reviews and a score of 90% on Metacritic. Even though some people aren’t happy with some parts of the game.

However, the game’s launch was not bug-free. The release version of the game had problems that ranged from minor annoyances to outright crashes.

However, there are still problems to work out more than a month after the game release. It’s been a long time since the last update, patch 1.09.

The patch doesn’t fix every problem with Horizon Forbidden West, but it does fix many problems with quests, balance, graphics, performance, the UI, and more, so it’s a good thing.

Developer Guerrilla Games announced the most recent update to Horizon Forbidden West on Twitter, and they also posted the full patch notes in the Horizon subreddit, which is for games like this one. Patch 1.09’s main goal appears to fix bugs related to quests, with the patch notes listing 14 issues with both primary and side quests that have fixed.

People and essential items don’t appear in the wrong places or get stuck or fall through the level geometry. Many problems that let people break quests by doing things in the wrong order have fixed.

This update also fixes several issues with the open world in the game Horizon Forbidden West. Players no longer have to worry about respawning out of bounds or under the ground in certain map parts.

During one of the Salvage Contracts, the patch also fixes a bug that caused players to get stuck in an animation loop. It also fixes some physics issues with two of the Relic Run quests.

Horizon Forbidden West’s Black Box collectibles can now use again after 1.09 fixed two bugs that made it impossible for players to use them.

The patch notes say that Horizon Forbidden West‘s 1.09 update fixed a few other things that were not very important. The patch has fixes that make the screen look better, speed up loading times, and avoid crashes.

Other things that need to fix include problems with music, button mapping, and items disappearing from the player’s inventory. As of today, players can’t use mounts to get away from boss fights.

Finally, the patch adds a lot of balance changes. People who worked on the game didn’t go into great detail in the main post. They explained the changes in a comment.

These include fixing bugs with some human enemies and making changes to the stats and abilities of robots, among other things. Developers also cut some of the Legendary Weapon and Armor stats in Horizon Forbidden West to match their first level.

Today’s notes also include a list of things that developers are still working on. Despite the above graphical changes, Guerrilla still hasn’t solved the shimmering problems in Horizon Forbidden West.

The ‘Upgraded Every Pouch Type’ Trophy also still broken. As are some Firegleam and Metal Flower Icons stay even after they’ve found and used. They are also still working on a problem with one of the NPCs in the “Blood Choke” side quest, but they aren’t done yet. Hopefully. These problems will fix in the next patch for Horizon Forbidden West.

Now you can play Horizon Forbidden West on your PS4 and PS5.
