According to news agency ANI, India and France have been navigating the western waters of the Arabian Sea since last Sunday. The name of this military exercise is ‘Varun.’ But even before that, New Delhi and Paris have jointly deployed war strategy at sea. This year’s rehearsal is the 19th edition of the ‘Varun’ series. It is learned that the French warship ‘Charles de Gaulle took part in this naval exercise.

In addition, the French army had a multi-mission destroyer, an air defense destroyer, and a supply ship. In addition, aircraft for surveillance in the air, fighter jets for the French Navy’s Rafale, and submarines for submarine warfare also took part in the naval exercise.
Destroyer INS Kolkata, Guided Missile Frigate INS Talwar, Support Ship Deepak, Calvary Class Submarine, Sea-King, and Chetak Helicopters took part in the naval exercise from India. During the three-day training, the two countries’ navies adopted the strategy of destroying air defense and enemy submarines.
The two forces also practiced several other complex tactics. New Delhi is unwilling to compromise on defense even though the Corona atmosphere has created panic in the country. Keeping in view the aggressive attitude of the Chinese navy in the sea, New Delhi is strengthening its defense ties with friendly France.
