India Made a Record Completing 25 Km Road in Just 18 Hours
An unprecedented work of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) working under the Ministry of Road Transport and National Roads is about to be inscribed in the Limca Book of Records. It may be mentioned that NHAI has completed the work of double laning of 25.54 km single lane road in just 16 hours. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari praised NHAI, along with all 500 employees and contractors, for the work.
He said NHAI had recently completed the work of double lane 25.45 km single lane road on Solapur-Bijapur National Highway in just 18 hours. The work of NHAI and 500 employees will be filed in the Limca Book of Records.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said, “500 employees of the contractor company have worked hard for this work. I would like to congratulate the NHAI officials, including the employee, the representative of the contractor company, and the officials involved in this project.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday announced the new Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor for Uttarakhand. The 210 km long 8-lane road project will cost a total of Tk 12,300 crore. Work on the project will begin in August 2021 and be completed by 2023.
