In some way, they’ve made amends for themselves through making updates and re-releasing their original game Joe Danger for iOS because of a father’s urgent appeal.

Joe Danger has updated to run on iOS 15 after the developers at Hello Games received an email from a caring father.
The father concerned owns an autistic kid called Jack who could find comfort in Joe Danger, the iOS game Joe Danger. After several years of iOS updates, The game sadly make unplayable.
In the words of Hello Games’ founder Sean Murray, “A secret shame of ours is that the success of No Man’s Sky left our first game Joe Danger unloved.”
After receiving the message from Jack’s father, the company decided to do something to redeem itself.

They gradually made the game again over time and eventually released the latest version of the game for iOS devices.
The new Joe Danger version Joe Danger includes improved graphics as well as a higher frame rate and gamepad support.
Anyone who owns the original version will be able to play the game for free, while everyone else will have to pay 2 dollars for it.
Murray added the impact games could have for players and that Joe Danger himself would be “riding off into the sunset waving at us all, smiling, a proud tear in his eye” with the knowledge the game was modified one more time.
