National award-winning Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay (38), who had suffered severe head injuries and a broken femur in a bicycle accident on Saturday night, passed away at a private hospital in Bangalore on Monday afternoon.

Vijay, a stage actor made his film debut with Rangappa Hogbitna in 2011. Vijay’s younger brother Siddesh Kumar reported that his family had decided to donate vital organs as the late actor always believed in helping others. “It’s a tough decision.
