New Nintendo Switch Online App Update

New Nintendo Switch Online App Update:  Nintendo just updated its Nintendo Switch Online app, now available on iOS and Android. The 2.0.0 to the Nintendo Switch Online app offers plenty of new features and a completely redesigned interface.

According to Nintendo’s patch notes, the latest update allows gamers to see online what they are currently playing. Of course, this convenience feature helps gamers find out who is online. The newest version also allows players to change their online status, ideal for individuals who want to stay anonymous.

The latest update to the Nintendo Switch Online app lets users see their buddy codes and copy and paste them for faster sharing. While this isn’t the first update to the Nintendo Switch Online software, version 2.0.0 organises friends and games better.

Nintendo also mentioned in the patch notes that minor improvements made, so players should expect a lot better experience than previously.

You can now see which of your friends are online
    and adjust your online-status settings
  • You may view your friend code
  • Other minor adjustments have also been introduced

The latest update to the Nintendo Switch Online app came days after Nintendo revealed new rewards for players. Nintendo says customers can now earn more My Nintendo Platinum Points simply by utilising Switch Online.

Players can play online or play classic games offered by Nintendo Switch Online to boost their chances of earning Platinum points.

Even though the Nintendo Switch Online service has been around for a while, some players still don’t see its worth compared to the PS5 and Xbox Series X services.

To improve the whole experience, Nintendo recently told its followers that it would be upgrading and developing Switch Online. More classic titles will add to Nintendo Switch Online in the coming months, with The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask being the latest.
