Season 4 Part 2 and the final seven episodes of Ozark will release on Netflix on Friday, April 29, 2022. The show will premiere on the streaming service at 12 a.m. PST, 3 a.m. EDT, and 8 a.m. BST.
So, why did Netflix and Ozark’s creator Chris Mundy decide to split the final season of Ozark into two parts? “We always believed five (seasons) was the outside number,” Mundy said in an interview with The Wrap.
We didn’t want to repeat ourselves after that, and we didn’t want the program to feel like it was going because it was a TV show that had to go on.”
“So the decision has always been between four and five episodes. Then, Netflix came up with the brilliant notion of saying, ‘We’ll do four, but we’ll make it lengthy and split it this way,’ and it felt just right.”
