Raven Software’s QA Workers Will Form Union: The month of December saw Activision Blizzard fired 12 Raven Software’s QA team members. 

As a result, the remainder of the studio’s QA employees began a strike. That demanding that they and the fired workers offered full-time jobs.

So The strike has gone on for a long time. And demands from QA employees haven’t been met through Activision Blizzard. 

So To ensure better working conditions. Raven Software’s employees in the QA department are officially joining unions.

Activision Blizzard’s First Employee Union Has Formed

Raven Software’s QA employees are working together with Communication Workers of America (CWA) in their efforts to unionize. 

In addition the name of the union is Game Workers Alliance. The members are asking Activision Blizzard to officially recognize the union comprised of 34 members from Raven Software’s QA team.

CWA asserts that Activision Blizzard is not working with workers on strike. 

They have been threatening workers by using union-busting tactics. CWA Secretary-treasurer Sara Steffens has asked for the company to acknowledge CWA’s union. With an announcement. “We ask that Activision Blizzard management respect Raven QA workers by voluntarily recognizing CWA’s representation without hesitation.”

There is no official response to Activision Blizzard regarding the strike. However, an email aimed at preventing unions. Which has sent to employees in the last month. That dissuading a union within the company.
