In 2019, announced that Netflix had granted Studio MDHR and their associates the green light to create an official Cuphead animated series. However, production has been almost silent since then.
However, the Annecy International Animation Film Festival screened a storyboard cut from the first episode in June 2020.
Unfortunately, did not show this cut to the public. The radio silence ended this week.
Cuphead Show Release Date
The Cuphead Show is coming to Netflix on February 18, 2022. So it’s only one month away.
The show uses the game’s story to frame the story. It focuses on Cuphead and Mugman, two brothers who get into many shenanigans despite the warnings of the Elder Kettle.
They will often cross paths with characters from the game, such as Ribby and Croaks and Ms. Chalice and King Dice.
This cartoon is sure to entertain both adults and children alike with its mix of slapstick comedy and deadpan humor.
