New Delhi:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has informed the Supreme Court that it will make a decision on taking the remaining Class 12 exams before Thursday.
“The decision-making process is at an advanced stage and will end on Thursday,” said the Attorney General, who appeared for the central government and CBSE today.
The hearing in the case has been deferred until 2 PM Thursday.
Last week, the Board had told the superior court that it would make a decision “very soon” after a group of parents sought to override the notice to take the remaining class 10 and 12 exams from July 1 to 15.
They required that students receive grades based on an internal assessment or in line with the grades assigned for the practical tests.
