Police identified the victim as Nandu alias Rahul Krishna, 22, the RSS shakha mukhya shikshak in Nagamkulangara in Alappuzha’s panchayat village of Wayalar. Three RSS and SDPI activists were seriously injured in the clash. A strong contingent of police was deployed to the area to prevent an escalation of violence.
