Scolded for playing games on mobile

A 15-year-old boy allegedly jumped to his death from a building under construction in Noida after being scolded by his parents, who had asked him not to play mobile phone games, police said Thursday. The Class 7 student had disappeared from his home in Sector 110 under the confines of the Phase 2 police station last night after his parents scolded him, authorities said.

“The boy was upset by the scolding for playing mobile games and left home around 8 pm. This morning, his body was found in a nearby building under construction. He had allegedly jumped out of the building last night,” said the Deputy Commissioner for Police (Crime), said Elamaran G.

“The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination and the matter is being investigated. Forensic experts have also collected evidence from the scene,” the officer said.

In two other cases, two people allegedly committed suicide in Noida and Greater Noida on Wednesday, police said.

One of them, 22, lived in the area of ​​the Sector 49 Noida police station, while the other, 35, lived in the Bisrakh area of ​​Greater Noida, police added.

Both bodies have been sent for autopsy and further procedures are underway, police said.
