Shilpa Shetty joins the sequins trend
The sequin trend it’s been on for a while. And while it almost always works, it can also be overkill. Shilpa Shetty’s recent look is an example of the same. Designed by Sanjana Batra, she was seen in a sari by designer Akanksha Gajria.
The actor was spotted in the designer’s classic sequin saree in lime and pink. This was paired with a pink sequin blouse. Despite the appeal being understood, the look appeared too exaggerated and crowded. She had further complimented the look with a choker, adding more sparkle.

The designer also shared the sari on her social media, writing: “We see a classic chevron textured sequin saree in lime and millennial pink, worn with a 3D pink mirror flower embroidered choli. A look that has unlimited options, be it daytime or evening events. This is really a talking point! Wherever you go, start a RIOT ”
