Skate 4 is coming soon: For many years, Skate fans would invade the comments section of every social media post from EA and would scream “Skate 4” repeatedly.
The situation remained the same until a newly announced Skate game was made public in 2020 by EA at the beginning of 2020. Since then, there’s no information released regarding the game until this week, when EA President Andrew Wilson said it might released soon.
Gamers Could Be playing Skate 4 a lot sooner Than They Believe.
In an earnings call earlier this week, Wilson spoke about the importance of user-generated content and said:
“The possibility of creating the content you want to develop and then putting it into the community is now an essential aspect of the services we provide to our players as well as our supporters.
This is something we believe to be true. The traditional media does not. This has been at the center of The Sims for a long time. It’s in the middle of games like FIFA Ultimate, even Madden Ultimate Team to the center in the style of Skate and Skate 2, which will launch soon.”
The players of Skate 3 will remember how it allowed gamers to post their skate parks to ensure that other players could download their own.
This feature played a significant part in Skate 3, and this will likely be the case in the future unknown Skate sequel. Wilson added that this feature would play a crucial role in EA’s future games.
It’s been more than two years since the game announce. Therefore it is only natural that we are rapidly nearing the release date.
