Terrorists shoot and kill a Hindu teacher in Kulgam, Jammu, and Kashmir

Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir shot at a Hindu school teacher in the Kulgam area, in yet another example of targeted assaults on minorities.

Rajni Bala, 36, of Samba in the Jammu region, was injured when terrorists opened fire on her in the Gopalpora area of Kulgam, where she was working as a teacher, according to police.

She was severely wounded and transported to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The police have said that the terrorists responsible for the heinous act would be discovered and neutralized as quickly as possible.

The event occurred at a high school in Kulgam’s Gopalpora neighborhood. A cordon has been placed around the area.

In the wake of increased targeted murders, police and security personnel have been on high alert.

Two terrorists were killed in a confrontation with security personnel in the Pulwama area earlier today, according to police. They said one of the terrorists slain was engaged in civilian deaths.

An encounter broke out late Monday night in Rajpora in the Awantipora region of Pulwama district as security personnel started an anti-terror operation, according to a police officer.
