The Witch Queen Reintroduces Destiny 2 Foundry Weapons: A brand-new Destiny 2 expansion will bring tons of new content players to get their teeth into, which is not last and will be a whole new collection of weapons to hunt for.
The Witch Queen is bringing the game’s grind by introducing weapon crafting. That gives players more influence over their weapons in their arsenal.
But, there will be plenty of brand new and old weapons to chase in the event of an expansion release. The latter will bring back The Witch Queen‘s weapon foundries into the game.
The Witch Queen is the latest expansion for Destiny 2, which pits guardians against Savathun, one of the gods known as Hive, who is cunning and is believed to have gained his Light and all of its power.
Players will be able to summon a range of new and returning weapons and new abilities to track down the Hive queen of the title and restore the Light.
The only thing that stands between players, as well as Savathun, will be her Lucent brood. Hive filled with Light and the power it possesses.
In the most recent episode of This Week at Bungie. The studio has taken an in-depth look at the general weapon overhaul that is coming to The Witch Queen’s game component.
The above loot refresh will bring back Suros, Hakke and Visit Hakke, Visit, Omolon, and Suros weapon foundries into the game “12 new weapons in the style of the Destiny 2 Year-1 foundry weapon sets” to replace the current global loot pools.
The Witch Queen Reintroduces Destiny 2 Foundry Weapons
A new foundry weapon will come in Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit as a game’s playlist weapon.
The foundry weapons and other brands’ new or returning items benefit from the unique Origin Traits available to all weapons within The Witch Queen’s entire loot bank.
Alongside the game’s Origin Traits, foundry weapons will come with themed Origin Traits reflecting the foundry’s identity. The two traits that have reveal within the TWAB include Suros Synergy. Where the reloading process grants bonus handling and decreases the incoming flinch by up to six seconds.
The other is Omolon Fluid Dynamics. Which gives the weapon a boost in reload speed and stability in the upper half of the magazine.
Bungie added weapons from the foundry that dropped from the world pool. They will come with only one trait of origin. When dropping from playlist activities will offer the option between the foundry or trait of activity.
The refresh of the loot pool like this is typical in Destiny 2 as they usually occur with the release of a brand new expansion like Shadowkeep and Beyond Light.
But, the return of the foundry weapon is an exciting one. It reflects Bungie’s stance in TWAB for firearms to have distinctive identities, regardless of whether players made it or received god-roll from Trials of Osiris.
Destiny 2. is being played via PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, along Xbox Series X/S.
