Tom Brady set for a dramatic return to Foxborough

Super Bowl champ Tom Brady set for a dramatic return to Foxborough.

Tom Brady walks into Gillette Stadium in a new uniform. However, he is in his familiar position as the reigning Super Bowl champion on Sunday. He will be playing at New England for the first time as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer.

The 44-year-old is back on his New England Patriots’ home turf for the first time since leaving after two decades of defining moments during which he won six of the seven Super Bowl titles before shattering the hearts of the team’s passionate base by resigning.

After swapping Patriots blue in exchange for Buccaneer’s pewter and adding a Super Bowl ring to his collection following Tampa’s lead in a 31-9 win against Kansas City Chiefs in February.

His returning to Gillette Stadium is shaping up for a dramatic game on Sunday Night Football clash.

“I have so much respect and appreciation for Tom,” Patriots head coach Bill Belichick told reporters on Monday while ignoring the questions about why and how their long-standing partnership broke up.

“We’re just getting ready to compete against Tampa this week, and we’re going to keep our focus on that.”

Neutralizing the seemingly invincible five-time Super Bowl MVP will be an extremely difficult task. Brady appears to be on the right track for another great run.

He has 1,087 passing yards in the opening three weeks of NFL season, the second-highest among quarterbacks of the National Football League (NFL).

“He looks like he’s about 25,” said Bucs head coach Bruce Arians this week, following his team’s loss of 34-24 in the road against Los Angeles Rams.

Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. “He takes care of himself.”

The journey to Foxborough is a thrilling return to home to Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski, who won the Super Bowl three times in New England.

Therefore, he signed with the Buccaneers immediately following Brady and a year later after declaring his retirement.
