The stable update version of Microsoft Windows 11 will start on October 5. Windows 10 customers will receive new free operating system updates. 

According to the company, customers covered by the Windows Insider program will begin receiving stable updates to Windows 11 starting on October 5.

Windows 11 has multiple new features with the Center Allied taskbar. Besides, it includes unique sound, Microsoft 365 integration, and many more features. 

However, computers pre-installed with Windows 11 will go on sale worldwide starting October 5. Windows 11 has many new features, including the new Start menu, Snap Layout, Snap Group, Microsoft Teams integration. 

Also, the Android application can run on Windows 11. Microsoft has completely redesigned Windows 11.

Top 10 Changes between Windows 10 vs Windows 11

However, after the Windows 11 update, Users can no longer use Windows 10 features. Take a look at these features.

1. Cortana

Cortana, the company’s virtual assistant, will stop the first start of Windows 11. This virtual assistant will no longer be pinned to the taskbar.

2. Remove wallpaper from desktop: Once you have signed in with a Microsoft account, you will no longer be able to move wallpaper from one device to another.

3. Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is finally leaving. Users can no longer use this browser on Windows 11. The company is adding the Microsoft Edge browser instead.

4. Math Input Panel 

Math Recognizer application can be installed Math Input Control if necessary. It will cause problems with OneNote.

5. Lockscreen Status

Microsoft also removes the ‘Lockscreen Status’ feature as well. Also, Quick Status is excluded from associated Settings.

6. Limited S mode

Now, users can only use S Mode with Windows 11 Home Edition. In this mode, you can use all Windows functions with additional protection.

7. Snipping tool change

Although users can use the snipping tool, the user interface is changing. The Snipping Tool in Windows 11 will look different than the one in Windows 10.

8. New start menu

The first change you notice in Microsoft Windows 11 is the start menu. You can no longer create groups with your name in the Start menu. 

Also, pinned apps will not appear in Windows 11 when upgrading from Windows 10. Additionally, Live Tiles will be no more from the Start menu.

9. Tablet mode removal

Previously, the user could use tablet mode to switch from desktop mode to tablet mode directly. Tablet customers will benefit from this feature. 

Besides, Microsoft will now remove ‘Tablet Mode’ from Windows 11.

10. Change taskbar

All Windows computers have a taskbar. There, the user can pin the application of their choice. Various functions of the taskbar are changing. The People tab has been removed from the taskbar. 

Also, some icons are no longer visible in the systray. Previously, the taskbar alignment was to the left. 

At the same time, Microsoft will align the Windows button on the taskbar and the pinned app in the middle.
