Unjustified bans for some Elden Ring players: Players from all over the world are still exploring the world of The Lands Between, going into dungeons, finding rare treasures, and sharing their stories with allies and enemies.
Even so, some people who play Elden Ring have found out. That they can no longer connect with other people after Thursday.
What first thought to be a problem with the server may have an unexplained wave of bans targeting players for strange behaviour.
Elden Ring’s multiplayer servers came under many questions on Thursday morning. However, the server outage seemed only to be affecting a few people. Most people who played the Elden Ring didn’t have any problems with the servers.
Players of the game Elden Ring started to wonder if something else was going on. FromSoftware and Bandai Namco didn’t give them any answers.
Some players noticed that a small group of Elden Ring players were talking about how multiplayer no longer worked for them. And that they had already kick out of the game before it happened.
A picture of an error message on the internet looked like this: “Inappropriate behaviour has found. Getting back to the title menu “was shown before he lost access to multiplayer.
Unjustified bans for some Elden Ring players
Sometime later, it looked like a wave of bans from Elden Ring was going on.
In other words, there hasn’t been an official statement from FromSoftware or Bandai Namco on the matter.
In this case, there is no proof of the bans or what caused them. The dozen or so messages about “Inappropriate Activity” on Twitter make it look like there isn’t a single type of behaviour that punish.
This makes the bans look like put in place because of some undefined behaviour that did in the past. It’s also possible that the bans done by accident.
It’s a very upsetting situation. People who play Elden Ring have to be afraid that they could be banned next without knowing why or how to avoid it.
Not only that, but they don’t know why or how to avoid it. Because some people have been banned for cheating or trying to hack the game. There’s a chance that they did it on purpose.
One of the ideas discussed in the Elden Ring community has to do with FromSoftware’s security issues before the game came out.
Software’s multiplayer code had a flaw that made its games very easy for hackers to get into, which could be dangerous for players. Changes have made, but some people think FromSoftware’s anti-cheat system isn’t set up right and is catching cheaters who aren’t cheaters.
However, there hasn’t been any word from Bandai Namco or FromSoftware about this yet.
Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. You can also get it on Xbox One.
