Western powers have today responded in response to Russian Vladimir Putin’s announcement of Vladimir Putin launching military operations in Ukraine.
Putin announced a “special military operation in Ukraine” in a unique address on television.
Ukrainian officials reported missile attacks and gunfires in several cities in the following minutes.

Here’s how the world’s top leaders reacted to Russia’s declaration of war against Ukraine:
Russia must be accountable US president Joe Biden stated that the US will continue to support Ukraine and that the world will hold Russia responsible for its assault on its military.
Biden described the attack as “unprovoked and inexplicably unjustified.”
“My prayers are for the Ukrainian people Ukraine who are suffering an unjustified and unprovoked assault in the form of Russian army forces,” Biden said in an address.
“Russia is the sole culprit in the destruction and death the attack is likely to cause as well as it is expected that the United States and its Allies and partners will react in a coordinated and decisive manner. The world will take action to hold Russia to account,” he said.
Putin has selected a bloody route: the UK.
The UK and its allies will swiftly respond to Russia’s “unprovoked” assault on Ukraine Premier Boris Johnson today.
In his Twitter account Twitter, Mr. Johnson declared that he was shocked by the tragic incidents in Ukraine and has spoken with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss the next steps.
“President Putin has chosen a path of destruction and bloodshed in launching this attack without provocation on Ukraine. The UK and allies of ours will react swiftly,” he said in a tweet.
Russian attack shakes the foundations of the international system’ Japan PM.
Russia’s incursion into Ukraine “shakes the foundations of international peace,” Japan’s prime minister Fumio Kishida declared on Thursday and strongly condemned the military attack.
“The most recent Russian attack shakes the foundations of the international order that isn’t tolerant of any unilateral attempt to alter the status of the game.”
“We have a strong stance against Russia. We will coordinate our efforts together with international organizations, which includes those of the United States, and deal promptly,” he added.
Attack ‘unjustified and inadmissible” on Italy
Italian Premier Mario Draghi on Thursday lashed Russia’s attack on Ukraine as “unjustified and unjustifiable,” declaring that Europe, as well as NATO, were in the process of preparing an immediate response.
