WhatsApp Enable Mute Video Feature
WhatsApp rolled out the much-anticipated Mute Video feature. Previously the feature was only available for beta users for testing. Last month, WABetaInfo announced in a blog post that WhatsApp Mute Video will roll out soon. WhatsApp Mute Video feature has been launched for Android users all over the world.
Earlier, WABetaInfo reported that users who are using the beta version of the app will receive this new feature with the help of v2.21.3.13. This feature allows users to mute any video before sending it. Users will see this new Mute Video feature on the video-editing screen. You will see a volume icon at the very top left of the video edit screen. Clicking there will mute the video you are sending.
You must have opened the phone and started testing with your own hands! Well done! But in the middle, so that your WhatsApp Mute Video feature does not get stuck in a mistake, know the correct method for it.
How to use WhatsApp Mute Video Feature?
1. First of all, open WhatsApp from the Google Play Store and update your app once. (Unless there is an updated version of WhatsApp)
2. Now open WhatsApp on your phone. It is important to know that this Mute Video feature will open for both individual chat and status mode.
3. To use the new Mute Video feature, first record any video or edit a video that is already on the phone.
4. Now when you go to the edit screen, you will see a volume icon at the very top left of the screen. If you tap there, the video will be muted. You can then share it with any contact you want. Can even set as status.
WhatsApp’s Mute Video feature will be very useful for sending videos that can be shared without any background music or audio. Instagram already have this feature enable on their app earlier.
