Will There Be An Elden Ring 2:  For now, until March 16, 2022, Elden Ring has sold more than 12 million copies around the world in less than a month. 

From Software has made the souls borne genre more accessible to a whole new group of people, which has helped it become trendy. Is there going to be a sequel to Elden Ring? It should.

Elden Ring 2 – Will there be a Sequel?

There are many sequels made by the company FromSoftware, like Dark Souls II and Dark Souls III, and the Armored Core and King’s Field games. Many people have even questioned Elden Ring about whether or not it is a follow-up to Dark Souls. 

Not at all: The Elden Ring is a single game that doesn’t have any plans for a follow-up. A prequel that puts players in the Tarnished’s shoes before they become one could happen at any time. Now, that will be fun to play.

Why does Elden Ring Need a Sequel or a Prequel?

There are a lot of things FromSoft got right in Elden Ring and can be enhanced in the next game from this IP:

  • The PvP and Co-op parts of the game are fun. I like them.
  • People who work for bosses are very well-made, and it’s fun to beat and cheese them, too.
  • The map and dungeons are just the proper levels of difficulty for a game that looks like a souls-like game to me.
  • Different classes, weapons, builds, and items make the game fun to play again, and there are a lot of areas to explore and hidden secrets to find.
  • Exciting but straightforward lore can be added to the sequel or prequel, making it even more interesting to read.

Will There Be An Elden Ring 2

Now, the game industry is very unpredictable. A good game made by a few indie developers can be a huge hit, and some of the most anticipated games can fail.

 As soon as Elden Ring announce, people excited. It has lived up to their expectations. Around 80 hours is what it will take to finish the game. There is so much to find and unique enemies to kill that it will take a long time. Some people will spend more than 100 hours on it.

 Many people who don’t play a lot of souls borne games together have played this game, and I think that’s great.

It’s based on all of this and how well the developers did with Elden Ring. 

Players can assume (and hope) that there might be talks about Elden Ring 2 going on. Whether or not the plan is valid, and whether or not there is a release date for Elden Ring 2. 

We don’t know yet. As of now, the game is just basking in the glory of its enormous success. People also think that there might be a DLC.

When playing the game, we keep a few things to keep in mind, even though we don’t know what will happen. In Hidetaka Miyazaki’s games, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring are all made by him.

 The first two games don’t have sequels, though. Miyazaki thinks that “Software has to come up with new things.” Players can expect new types of games to approve by him. If there will be no more ER games, we don’t know yet. 

If you want to make a sequel, there are a lot of different endings that you can get. Translating one ending into another can be challenging, so it can be hard to make a sequel. On the other hand, having a prequel might make things more simple.

It doesn’t matter if the game doesn’t get a sequel and only DLC at the end of the day. Playability and multiplayer modes will keep you playing for a long time, and even years, to come.
