1,406 oxygen cylinders provided for home isolation: Delhi government.
District magistrates have provided 1,406 oxygen cylinders to COVID-19 patients recovering in home isolation in Delhi, authorities said on Friday.
According to the latest health bulletin published by the Delhi government, 50,425 patients are in home isolation.
The number of active Covid 19 cases in Delhi is 91,035, while there are 50,785 containment zones.
The government has created a collaborative group of cylinders in each district of the national capital to supply life-saving gas to COVID-19 patients in home isolation and meet the emergency needs of hospitals.
Govt chooses a Delhi Transport Corporation bus station for each district for this purpose.
An official said that patients in home isolation could contact the district magistrate in question to obtain an empty or full cylinder.
