3 Men Arrested For Duping Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi: Delhi police arrested three people on Sunday for deceiving the daughter of Delhi’s chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, in an e-commerce fraud, a source told the new ANI agency. While three men have been arrested in connection with the online fraud, the main defendant is on the run, the source said. “Three defendants named Sajid, Kapil and Manvendra have been arrested for cheating on Arvind Kejriwal’s daughter. One of the main accused is the flight of those who used to create fake accounts on e-commerce sites, ”said the source. Arvind Kejriwal’s daughter, Harshita, was cheated out of 34,000 rupees on February 7 while trying to sell a second-hand sofa on an e-commerce website.

The Delhi police had registered a cheating case at the Civil Lines police station.

“The person, posing as a customer, asked him to scan a barcode after sending a small amount to his account. And when he scanned the barcode, the money was debited from his account in two installments: first Rs 20,000 and then Rs 14,000, ”the police had said.
