7 people have died in a thunderstorm in South Bengal Today.
Monsoon in Kolkata 2021 Forecast Today: The monsoon has already entered North Bengal. But, it has not come to South Bengal yet. According to the meteorological department, the monsoon will enter Kolkata and South Bengal after this week.

However, South Bengal and Kolkata receive thunderstorms along with the rainfall today evening. People of here get some relief from the heat today. Previously, we reported it might be lightning and rain in various districts of South Bengal, including Kolkata.
However, South Bengal and Kolkata soaked in pre-monsoon rains today. The storm started in different parts of the state from 4 pm with thunderstorms.
As a result, 7 people have died from lightning. One of them is a resident of Polbar in Hughli. All the others are said to be residents of Murshidabad.
As a result of the storm, the state’s people got temporary relief from the unbearable heat. The Alipore Meteorological Department said that such weather would continue for the next few days.
