The game is expected to remind players of The Simpsons Hit & Run, the action-adventure title released in 2003 by Radical Entertainment, which is perhaps the most loved game in The Simpsons franchise to date.
The build reveal in an article posted to the Minecraft community of /r/Minecraft on Reddit. The Reddit community, a user, named BlocksterCraft, shared an aerial flight video of their fantastic project.

BlocksterCraft has spent seven months creating this Minecraftrecreation that is Springfield. To make the exact appearance, they developed the customized Minecraft texture packs.
This enabled the model to use the right colors and preserve some of the most delicate structures, like the details on windows.
The town has been meticulously recreated and includes several of the most critical landmarks mentioned throughout The Simpsons. This includes landmarks like Springfield Elementary School, Lard Lad Donuts and Duff Stadium. And the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, in addition to many more.
The tour finishes on the doorstep to 742 Evergreen Terrace, the famous fictional address of The Simpsons family.
Reddit users praised the project and flooded the post with Reddit accolades and positive remarks. However, it’s the design of BlocksterCraft’s Springfield that has provoked controversy among gamers. Some are asking why they came up with the layout.
On The Simpsons television series, the town’s design doesn’t have continuous continuity between episodes. The same applies to The Simpsons games.
On Reddit users, people have compared the layout with The Simpsons Hit & Run and The Simpsons Game (2007) and The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield(1997).
BlocksterCraft hasn’t yet revealed its plans for the layout. However, it may be a custom layout inspired by layouts of The Simpsons Movie and games and television shows.
After spending several months working in the process, BlocksterCraft says it is incomplete. Suggesting that there may an update to this incredible construction shortly.
