A thunderstorm may come today evening in South Bengal.
The seasonal storms are giving relief from the heat of May in West Bengal. But, it is very uncomfortable since morning, the weather being pleasant after the afternoon due to the light showers. Like the last few days, the weather department has expected that rainfall may come on Monday afternoon. Along with the rain, strong winds can blow around the area of South Bengal.

The meteorological office said that strong winds could blow at a speed of 30-40 kph in a few hours in the state’s coastal areas. There is a possibility of heavy rain with thunderstorms. Due to which the temperature of that area-adjacent area will decrease. The Alipore Meteorological Department has forecast storms and rains in large areas of South 24 Parganas. Due to these storms, the temperature may drop in Kolkata and its vast regions.
Incidentally, the monsoon is coming to the state in a few days. West Bengal Weather Department has already informed about the upcoming monsoon. For the last couple of years, the monsoon came in West Bengal a little late.
However, this time monsoon is coming at the right time, and there is no possibility of delay. The meteorological department has informed that if the rules are followed, the monsoon will start on June 1. And within a week, it will rain in Bengal. Between June and September, the country will receive about 80 percent of the annual rainfall.
