Rubina Dilaik had recently made headlines on the show, when she revealed that she and Abhinav were planning a divorce before entering the show. His Shakti co-star Kamya Panjabi said he was surprised to learn this and told E Times: “I had no idea about the differences in their relationships. We weren’t the best of friends, we knew each other and chatted after filming, but we worked together on the show for four years and together with the whole crew, he invited us to dinner at his house once.
