Rafael Nadal did the same thing when he was the same age as Carlos Alcaraz in 2005. On Monday, Alcaraz, 18, became the youngest player to make it into the top 10 of the ATP rankings since then.
Alcaraz moved up two places to ninth in the world because he beat Pablo Carreno Busta in straight sets in the final of the Barcelona Open on Sunday, moving him up two places.

Cameron Norrie, from Britain, drops out of the top 10 and moves up to number 11. For Alcaraz, it was the third title of the season. He won the Miami Masters at the start of the month and the Rio tournament in February.
Carreno Busta and another Spaniard, Roberto Bautista Agut, trade places. Carreno Busta moves up to 18th, and Agut moves down one spot to 19th.
Novak Djokovic is still at the top of the rankings, even though he lost in the final of the Belgrade Open to a Russian named Andrey Rublev. Medvedev is out because he has a hernia.
